Anytime I need a simple side dish to complete our meal, these Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts and Balsamic Glaze come to mind! I love how filling and nourishing Brussels sprouts are. To make it even more satisfying and add great crunch, I love the addition of walnuts. Top it off with an easy 2-ingredient balsamic glaze.

To get started making this recipe, you’ll want to gather these ingredients:
- 1½ pounds Fresh Brussels Sprouts ends trimmed off and halved
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- ⅓ cup raw walnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
Step by Step Instructions
Bake the Brussels
- Preheat the oven to 400℉.Wash and trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts. Slice the Brussels sprouts in half.
- Place the Brussels on a parchment lined baking sheet. Drizzle with avocado oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Then toss it all together so that everything has a bit of oil. Bake for 20 minutes. In the meantime, make the glaze…
Make the glaze
- In a glass jar with a tight fitting lid, add the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup (or honey). Place the lid on the jar and shake to combine.
- After the Brussels have baked for 20 minutes, remove them from the oven, drizzle with the glaze (to taste), add the chopped walnuts, and toss together.
- Place the Brussels sprouts back into the oven for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
