How To Make Rustic Braised Cabbage with Apple Cider Vinegar
Step 1:
Core and thinly slice the cabbage and onion.
Step 2:
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft, roughly 5 minutes.
Step 3:
Add the chicken stock, apple cider vinegar, honey, cabbage, and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook for 20, or until the cabbage is really tender.
Step 4:
Remove lid and cook until all the liquid evaporates. Serve warm.

- 1 green cabbage
- 2 Tbsp butter or avocado oil
- 1 sweet onion
- 1/3 Cup chicken stock
- 1/4 Cup Apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 Tbsp raw sugar or honey
- salt and pepper to taste
