- 1 green cabbage
- 2 Tbsp butter or avocado oil
- 1 sweet onion
- 1/3 Cup chicken stock
- 1/4 Cup Apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 Tbsp raw sugar or honey
- salt and pepper to taste

Core thinly slice the cabbage. Thinly slice the onion.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft, roughly 5 minutes.
Add the chicken stock, white wine vinegar, sugar or honey, and cabbage. Cover and cook for 20, or until the cabbage is really tender.
Remove lid and cook until all the liquid evaporates. Serve warm.
