Choosing Quality Chicken Tenderloins

When choosing chicken tenderloins, it is important to opt for local and organic options if possible.

Not only does this support local farmers, but it also ensures that the meat you are consuming is free from harmful chemicals and hormones.

If you can’t find local or organic options, look for chicken that is labeled as free-range or antibiotic-free.

It is also important to choose chicken tenderloins that are fresh and not frozen. Fresh chicken will have a better texture and flavor, and it will be easier to marinate and cook!

Tips for Marinating and Cooking Chicken Tenderloins

If you want to add extra flavor to your chicken tenderloins, marinating them is a great way to do that.

To marinate chicken tenderloins, I like to let the chicken sit in the mixture for at least 10 minutes before cooking but doing it longer results in even more flavor.

When cooking chicken tenderloins, it is important to keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking.

Overcooked chicken will be dry and tough, so it is important to cook them until they are just done.

You can use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F. This ensures that the tenderloins are fully cooked, yet not overdone.
