Heat a Dutch oven or large soup pot over medium-high heat. Add the avocado oil. Once hot, add the ground sausage and saute until fully cooked though
Next, add the Italian seasoning, garlic, and red peppers. Stir everything together and cook for 1 more minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Once simmering, add the pasta and cook for about 10 minutes (or until the pasta is tender), stirring every 3-4 minutes.
Once the pasta has cooked, add in the thawed spinach and parmesan cheese, cooking for 1-2 minutes until the spinach is heated through. Remove from the heat and serve.Serve with parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, optional.
