  • large cast iron skillet

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chicken bone broth or broth
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add the avocado oil and sliced onion. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the onions are translucent.
  • Next, add the bone broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together, then bring to a boil.
  • Add the green beans, stir to coat them in the sauce. Reduce heat to medium and cover.
Cook for 8-10 minutes until the green beans are tender, removing the lid for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking to thicken the broth.
