Slow Cooker Mediterranean Chicken.
Equipment
- Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1½ tsp dried basil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup avocado oil or olive oil, butter
Instructions
- Put the chicken thighs into the slow cooker and top with sliced onions.
- Drizzle with avocado oil and lemon juice. Season with spices, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- Cook the chicken thighs for 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low. Gently pull the chicken apart into pieces and serve with the drippings.
