Remove the frozen fish from all packaging and arrange the salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Spray lightly with oil on all sides.
Bake for 8-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush with the orange glaze
Prepare the orange glaze.
In a small pan over medium heat, add the avocado oil, followed by the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Then whisk in the orange zest, orange juice, honey, tamari sauce, and the cornstarch that has been whisked with a splash of water.
Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes until it has thickened to a glaze consistency.
Remove the salmon from the oven and brush with the glaze
Brush the glaze all over the salmon after it has cooked for 8-12 minutes.
Now return the salmon to the oven and continue to bake until the salmon is flaky and the glaze is bubbling in the center, 5-8 minutes more.*Thicker fillets may need a few extra minutes to cook through and fresh fillets will need less bake time.Let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. I love the serve this salmon with brown rice or a fresh cabbage slaw.
