1jalapeno, ribs removed, seeded, and roughly chopped

Place the onion, jalapeño, oregano, cumin, chipotle powder, salt, and pepper in a food processor and process until they form a paste and all the ingredients are chopped.
Using a sharp knife, poke 12 holes in the top and sides of the beef to allow the paste to seep into the meat. Place the beef in the slow cooker.
Rub the paste over the entire exterior of the meat. Pour the beef bone broth into the bottom of the pot.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Allow the meat to rest for 15 minutes after cooking. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
