Slow Cooker Dinosaur Kale with Ham Hocks

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs fresh dinosaur kale, washed and chopped or collard greens
  • 2 ½ lb each pastured pork hocks I get mine here: whiteoakpastures.com/ELIZABETH20 
  • 1 cup chicken bone broth
  • 1 small sweet onion, chopped or thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  • Remove pork hocks, shred the meat, and return it to the slow cooker. Then serve!
    We love serving these greens over rice with a drizzle of the cooking broth.
