Easy Summertime Salami and Cucumber Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz uncured salami
  • 8 slices sourdough sandwich bread https://healthyelizabeth.com/no-knead-sourdough-sandwich-bread-easy-dairy-free/

for the cream cheese spread

  • 8 oz spreadable cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp good mayo
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • pinch garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium size bowl, ombine the ingredients for the cream cheese spread. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow the flavors to mesh.
  • After chilling the cream cheese spread, slice a loaf of sourdough sandwich bread and spread both sides with a layer of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Thinly slice and English cucumber and top one side of the sandwich with the cucumbers, followed by a layer of uncured salami.
    Place the other slice of bread on top and cut into your desired shape. Feel free to cut the crust off, but I always leave it on. Serve right away. Enjoy!
