Easy Summertime Salami and Cucumber Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 8 oz uncured salami
- 8 slices sourdough sandwich bread https://healthyelizabeth.com/no-knead-sourdough-sandwich-bread-easy-dairy-free/
for the cream cheese spread
- 8 oz spreadable cream cheese
- 3 tbsp good mayo
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- pinch garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium size bowl, ombine the ingredients for the cream cheese spread. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow the flavors to mesh.
- After chilling the cream cheese spread, slice a loaf of sourdough sandwich bread and spread both sides with a layer of the cream cheese mixture.
- Thinly slice and English cucumber and top one side of the sandwich with the cucumbers, followed by a layer of uncured salami.Place the other slice of bread on top and cut into your desired shape. Feel free to cut the crust off, but I always leave it on. Serve right away. Enjoy!
