Peach Hot Honey Chicken Marinade
A fresh, summer spin on a classic combo – chicken and hot honey. This easy Peach hot honey chicken marinade is perfect for summertime grilling!
Equipment
- a large glass bowl for marinating the chicken in You can make the marinade in a glass jar and shake it, if you prefer.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken legs, thighs, or breasts
- ⅓ cup avocado oil
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice + 1 tbsp zest
- 3-4 tbsp hot honey (I used a peach hot honey that I found online at Thrive Market)
- 2 tbsp fresh tarragon, finely minced or 1 tsp dried
- 1 peach, pitted and cut into slices
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, except the chicken and peaches.
- Whisk the marinade ingredients together well, then add the chicken and peach slices to the bowl and coat the chicken and peaches in the marinade.
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook as desired: grilled, roasted, or in a skillet.Serve with an extra drizzle of hot honey, if desired.
